Frost Dragon Guide - Money Making Guide

Frost Dragons are honorable things.
Specially now Jagex has added in the "blue orb".

The blue orb appears when you do to much damage in a short amount of time.
When the blue orb is active, the dragon can not be harmed.
All damage is reflected back to its original point.

This can kill you, If you try to kill the dragon with the dragon claws, the damages will be reflected back to you. This means it is possible for dragon to 1 hit kill you.

I advise if your under 105 combat level, do not try to kill them. Also Requires 85 Dungeoneering
There 2 ways you can do this, Either take loads of high level food and use a Rapier.
Or Tank them as your cannon does the work.

Tanking them as your cannon does the work give you about 100k every 15 minutes.

For Tanking you need:
Torag's Helm
Torag's Platebody
Torag's Platelegs
Fury
Dragonfire Shield (Strongly Recommended)
Bandos Boots
Barrow Gloves
Onyx Ring (i) (Recommended)
Soul Cloak
Enhanced Excalibur (Strongly Recommended)
Rapier

Inventory:
Cannon Set
Cannon Balls (1,000+)
2 Prayer pots (4)
Teleport to house (Minimum 2)
High Level Food (Sharks advised over rocktails due to price) (19-20)

Having your house at rimmington can help, also changing your house setting to teleport at portal not inside house also saves time.

Now make your way to the frost dragon south of rimmington, the cave where you can mine the blurite ore.
Once there go through the Mysterious Entrance then turn on your protect from magic and find a place in the middle of the floor and place your cannon, Run around moving the dragon into the middle of the cannon (This kills them faster).

You can attack them but you risk getting hit, around 250 damage back.
I only advise to attack them when there health is very little, to kill them when you cannon is out of cannon balls or another dragon is in the way of the cannon.

When you get hurt (100 life points), use the enhanced excalibur, this heals you and boostes your defense. You should get the hang of running around.

Then just watch your reward build up.

Tips and Tricks
- To save time, its recommended to have your house at rimmington.
- Do not try to attack the dragon directly when the blue orb is up
- The blue orb will turn up atleast once or twice during the dragon life (Killing it).
