Because of this, some times its better to pick lock the coffins instead.
To do this scheme you need the following:
You must of completed the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest.
-As high thieving level as possible (99)
-Ardougne Cloak 3
-Gloves Of Silence
-A Number of Lockpicks (Extremely Recommended)
-Boots Of Lightness (Recommended)
-Rouge Top, Trousers, Mask (Recommended)
-Great Five Finger Discount/Five Finger Discount (Recommended)
- 2 Pick Locks
- 40,000 Coins
- 4 Relicym's Balm (3), Can be brought from the shop nearby if you sold Uglug Nar relicym's balm (4)
- Thieving Cape (Recommended)
- Dueling Ring (Recommended)
Once Ready Head North to the Zogres and find a spot with 3 coffins and pick lock them.
Warning, if your thieving goes slightly lower, your failing rate increases a lot!
It is advised to keep your thieving to the maximum level!
If Diseased, run up to Uglug and buy some, it is advise to keep at least 2 potions on you at all times!
Once Finished Run back to the bank and repeat. The trip i did took 20 minutes for around 30k.
Tips & Tricks
- Meleing can reach 300k per hour, thieving can only reach 200k unless you have 99 thieving.
- Pick locks tend to snap, Make sure you have atleast 3 per trip. If you do not use a lockpick, your thieving will be reduce alot! As well as lockpicks, you can use a hair clip. Free from merlin in the camelot castle.
You must do king's ransom quest first. This is a way to get free lockpick. Unless your lazy and go buy picklocks for 25 coins each in burthrope.
- Once your thieving level drops. it will keep on dropping, to reduce this, keep it to the maximum level possible.
- Summoning monsters supporting thieving can be used, how ever, it will reduce your income a lot.
- If you have 99 thieving, Buy two 99 thieving capes. This way you can switch them and each time you do, click boost aswell. This is a very cheap and effective way to boost your thieving from even 70 or less, all the way to 100.
- The rewards from coffins are random.
